Sound Diffuser Panels (Hybrid Diffusion + Absorption)
1/45
Color
Plate Style

These hybrid diffuser panels combine broadband absorption with a diffuser face to reduce harsh reflections while keeping the room lively and natural. Select your fabric color, diffuser face color, and plate style below.

Our Sound Diffuser Panels are hybrid acoustic panels designed to balance a room by combining broadband absorption with controlled diffusion. Each panel integrates a precision diffuser face mounted to a pine frame filled with high-density rigid fiberglass and wrapped in flame-retardant acoustical fabric.

This design absorbs low and low-mid energy while scattering mid and high frequencies, helping reduce flutter echo, tame harsh reflections, and preserve the natural “life” of the space. The result is a more accurate, musical, and comfortable room without over-deadening it.

HOW THEY WORK

These panels blend two acoustic functions into one product:

  1. Broadband absorption to help control low frequency buildup and low-mid muddiness
  2. A diffuser face (Binary or Slat) to scatter mid/high reflections and improve clarity and spaciousness

Binary plate styles (2D-A and 2D-B) use a precision perforation pattern to promote broad, even diffusion. The 1D Slat style uses vertical slats to disperse sound energy across a horizontal plane, supporting clarity while controlling excessive resonance.

All styles share the same core build and hybrid intent (diffusion + absorption). The main differences are:

  • Visual design of the faceplate
  • Diffusion pattern character (Binary vs Slat)

COMMON BENEFITS

Reduces flutter echo and “slap” reflections. Improves clarity for vocals, guitars, cymbals, strings, and dialogue. Helps control room coloration and low-mid buildup. Maintains brightness and energy (avoids a dead room). Works well in studios, control rooms, listening rooms, home theaters, offices, and creative spaces

IDEAL USE CASES

Recording studios and control rooms (manage reflections without killing detail). Home theaters (improve dialogue clarity and imaging). Listening rooms (reduce harshness while keeping the room natural). Offices and creative spaces (reduce distraction and improve comfort).
