Broadband absorption for clearer, more controlled rooms.
Jackson Acoustics Sound Absorbing Panels are designed to help control reflections, flutter echo, resonance, and excess reverberation across a broad frequency range. Their slim 2-inch profile combines a dense rigid fiberglass core with flame-retardant acoustical fabric to deliver substantial absorption without overwhelming the room visually.
Use them at early reflection points, on untreated walls, or as part of a larger acoustic treatment layout. They are well suited for recording studios, control rooms, listening rooms, home theaters, churches, offices, restaurants, and other spaces where clarity and controlled reverberation matter.
Small Profile. Serious Absorption.
Control the room without taking over the room.
Hard walls, ceilings, floors, and other reflective surfaces can allow sound to bounce repeatedly through a space. The result can be flutter echo, excessive reverberation, blurred detail, and reduced speech or musical clarity.
These panels provide a practical way to add broadband absorption where it is needed. Their 2-inch depth makes them easy to integrate into studios, theaters, offices, churches, restaurants, and living spaces while the rigid fiberglass core provides stronger low-frequency absorption than many similarly sized foam treatments.
Built for Real Acoustic Treatment
The materials behind the fabric are what make the difference.
At the center of each panel is 6 lb per cubic foot high-density rigid fiberglass, selected for effective broadband sound absorption. The core is wrapped in flame-retardant acoustical fabric and assembled into a clean, lightweight panel designed for practical wall installation.
The same straightforward construction philosophy runs throughout Jackson Acoustics products: use quality acoustic materials, build them carefully, and let measured performance speak for itself.
Where These Panels Work
Sound Absorbing Panels can be used at first-reflection points beside or behind listening positions, across untreated walls, and in areas where reflected sound is creating excessive reverberation. Multiple panels can be arranged as a coordinated treatment system to improve clarity and create a more controlled acoustic environment.
Common applications include recording and mixing rooms, home theaters, listening rooms, podcast and voice spaces, churches, offices, restaurants, classrooms, rehearsal spaces, and other interiors where unwanted reflections interfere with intelligibility or listening comfort.
Installation & Care
Panels install using the provided impaling clips and fasteners. Placement depends on the room and the acoustic problem being addressed; common locations include early reflection points and broad reflective wall areas.
For routine care, gently remove surface dust with a soft brush, duster, or low-suction vacuum attachment. Avoid saturating the fabric or using harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners.
For indoor use only.
